| Frequency Asked Questions any system can make or break the entire installation. Here are the most common problems and solutions. |
What kind of wire do I need to use with coaxial CCTV Transmission devices? |
Use 4C, 5C, 7C, RG-59, RG-6, RG 11 and RG-11 or better, 16-24AWG, stranded or solid. Using a multi-pair wire (six pairs or more) with an overall shield is OK. |

Can I transmit more than one video signal in a coaxial cable? |
Yes. The multi video signals can reside in the same coaxial cable via I-View’s CRX-300VP + CS-700RS multi video/power transmission system. |

Do EZLink product series can support broadband RF/VHF/UHF? |
Yes, EZLink product series provide the device, which uses the demodulators and modulators to convert to base band composite video. |

Can I transmit satellite or cable TV using EZLink product series? |
Yes, EZLink product series provide the device, which supports the wide bandwidth cable TV signal. |

Are EZLink CCTV transceivers rack mountable? |
Yes. The RMP-319 rack panel can hold up to three CRX-104PVAD or CRX-300VP transceivers. |

How to protect CCTV equipment destroyed from high voltage surges from nearby lightning strikes? |
Using I-View’s EZLink CCTV Transmission products. I-View’s coaxial cable transmission system have build in the surge protection function to protect the video, power and data on the DVR and camera both sites. |

Will RF interferes with the video signal when using EZLink CCTV Transmission device? |
No, EZLink device is highly immune to interference. CAT 5 UTP twisted pair wire can immunity the RF interference. But the high power (signal noise ratio) RF signal would occur the video interference, neither coaxial nor twisted pair cabling transmission. There three solutions to solve this problem:
Using I-View multi signal coaxial transmission system use the RF modulator way. It can avoid this problem. I-View's RF modulator allows to work with high voltage cable or high interference environment.

Why the video is black Picture?: |
This is a problem of the demodulator (CRX-104PVAD or CRS-300VP) and the modulator (CTX-104PVAD or CS-700RS) are "talking" to each other. But the video signal is not being passed through the system.
a. Verify good connections to the modulator from the video source. i.e. Camera.
b. Check video source (Camera) by running the outputs directly into the video inputs on the TV. Verify video source is working.
c. Check for power at video source.
d. Disconnect CS-700RS or CTX-104PVAD device from system:
A) Picture goes to snow; problem is between video source and then inputs on the modulator.
B) Picture stays black, hook up the CS-700RS or CTX-104PVAD device directly to a TV eliminating all the components of the system and check the picture.

The video picture is too bright or washed out when used the CRX-300VP & CS-700RS transmission system? |
a. Adjust RF output level to optima level.
b. If using a camera, checks positioning of the lens to be sure it's not aimed at the sun or a reflection.
c. Adjust camera lens - see lens manual.
