The unparalleled interference rejection and low emissions of the PVD Transmission system allows video and low-voltage power to coexist within the same 4-pair cable, using structured (EIA 568B) wiring practices.
The Model PTX-120VP and PTX-100PVD Video Transmitter +12VDC Converter is a passive (non-amplified) video transmitter combined with a DC40-12V / AC28-24V-to-12VDC converter. Designed to fit on the back of a fixed 12 VDC camera, this unit is architected to convert DC40-12V / AC28-24V power from the control room (DVR Site), while use with PRX-400PVD or PTX-120VP delivering real-time composite (Base-band) video signals and power at extended distances, all over one 4-pair UTP cable.
The Passive Video Receiver Hub PRX-400PVD or PTX-120VP on the control room (DVR Site), which allow DC40V / 28VAC/ 24VAC inputs that can support at-distance camera loads up to 0.5 Amp for cable runs under 1000ft (300m). The PVD transmission system builds in diagnostic LED display load/no-load at a glance and surge protection, damaging voltage spike problems are eliminated. |

Note:
1. Tested using the Category 5 UTP cable.
2. It is recommended that the 24VAC/28VAC not share the same jacketed wire bundle with telecom or LAN signals.
3. You must use the DC40V/ AC28V/24V power input for PRX-400PVD when used with PTX-120VP.
4. The Transmission distance of Video, please refer to the video distance Chart. |
