The AnyNet® Failover Solution is a robust system designed to ensure continuous video recording, even when your primary system fails. It automatically takes over surveillance tasks during a main system outage or maintenance, guaranteeing uninterrupted video capture.
This core architecture consists of three main components:
A. The NVR (Network Video Recorder), which is your primary recording system.
The AnyNet® Failover Server, which is the dedicated backup host.
The Hypervisor® Service Platform, a centralized management console that monitors all your devices.
In modern security, complete video data is crucial. A recording failure is like losing the brain of your security system, eliminating valuable evidence and operational integrity. Recognizing this critical risk, we developed an intelligent failover mechanism that combines real-time monitoring with smart management to prevent any loss of video due to equipment failure.
The Hypervisor® Service Platform constantly monitors the status of all NVRs. When the system detects an anomaly—whether it’s a hardware malfunction or a network issue—it automatically activates the failover server. This ensures that video footage is instantly and seamlessly stored on the backup system without any interruption or unnecessary bandwidth usage. This keeps your video data complete, secure, and always available.

Are you concerned about losing critical footage due to NVR failure in your surveillance system? Or are you looking for a solution that ensures continuous video recording and uninterrupted data storage? The AnyNet® Failover Server is your best choice for enhancing system stability and data security.
The AnyNet® Failover Server supports an N+F architecture, allowing it to automatically take over multiple failed recording hosts simultaneously.
For example, in an F=2 configuration, the failover server can take over two failed NVRs at the same time, continuously supporting video recording for 4/8/16/32/64/128 channels. The failover server is automatically activated in the following situations:
(1) The AnyNet® Network Video Recorder crashes or fails to start normally.
(2) All hard drives in the recording host fail, making recording impossible.
This failover configuration significantly reduces the risk of data loss due to equipment failure, ensuring critical footage is preserved instantly without missing a second.

AnyNet® Technology supports a flexible N+F failover configuration mode. This means N primary recording hosts can be supported by F failover hosts, with no limits on the number of primary and backup units. This design allows for expansion based on actual needs, improving system flexibility and reliability.
For example, in a 20+2 configuration, two failover servers can simultaneously take over any two failed recording hosts in the system, ensuring overall system continuity and uninterrupted real-time video storage. This configuration effectively prevents security vulnerabilities caused by single points of failure and maintains high availability standards for the surveillance system.

The N+F failover system configuration provides excellent scalability for your security surveillance recording deployment. How does the AnyNet® Failover System work?
The AnyNet® Failover Server has built-in Hypervisor® management services and supports scalable deployment with an N+F architecture. Once the primary and failover hosts are connected, the Hypervisor® automatically backs up all primary host parameters and continuously monitors their operational status.
When an NVR failure is detected, the failover server automatically takes over all its recording functions according to a pre-set priority order. It sends real-time video feed to the monitoring center and immediately resumes recording, ensuring uninterrupted footage.
The system design allows the number of failed hosts to be equal to the number of failover hosts, creating a high-availability architecture with simultaneous multi-host failover. When the failed host is repaired and returns to normal operation, the failover server automatically stops and enters standby mode, ready to take over again at any time. This ensures the entire system always operates at its optimal state.
