Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy
Defective Product Return Procedure
To return a defective product to i-View Technology, customers must first contact the i-View Technology Technical Support Department for preliminary troubleshooting. They must provide the invoice number obtained at the time of purchase, which will be used as the RMA number. All returned items must be accompanied by a completed Return Authorization Application Form (RMA Form).

Defective Product Definitions and Categories
1. DOA (Dead on Arrival)
This refers to a product that fails within 30 days of the purchase date and has been confirmed by i-View Technology technical support staff as non-functional. Proof of purchase (in the form of a proforma invoice) is required.
2. RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)
This refers to a product that is within the warranty period but is malfunctioning. Customers must contact the i-View Technology Technical Support Department for diagnosis and to follow the recommended next steps.
3. OOW (Out of Warranty)
If a product is out of its warranty period but still requires inspection and repair, customers can contact the i-View Technology Technical Support Department for assistance.
※ Note: For OOW cases, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
RMA and DOA Processing Flow
A. Please contact i-View Technology Technical Support to troubleshoot the product issue. To apply for warranty service, the initial contact must be made within the warranty period.
B. If the product is determined to require return for repair or replacement, provide the original invoice number (to be used as the RMA number) and confirm that the product is still within its warranty period.
C. Please package the product securely, including original accessories if possible, and clearly mark the RMA number (invoice number) on the outside of the package or on the shipping label.
D. Ship the product to the address specified by i-View Technology Technical Support. If the product is not received by us within 30 days of the initial contact date, the RMA number will be considered void. (Proof of purchase is required).
E. After the repair or replacement is completed, i-View Technology will ship the item back to the address provided on the shipping label, unless otherwise instructed in writing.
Important Notes
Packaging Requirements
Returned products must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. Please do not use standard mail envelopes, as they do not provide adequate protection. i-View Technology will not be able to provide repair or replacement services for products damaged due to improper packaging. i-View Technology does not accept products damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, natural disasters, or unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.
Right to Amend Policy
i-View reserves the right to revise this RMA policy, in part or in whole, at any time without prior notice.
Handling Out-of-Warranty (OOW) Items
If a product is out of its warranty period, the customer is responsible for round-trip shipping costs and all related repair fees.
Scope of i-View’s Liability
i-View’s liability is limited to the scope described in this policy and is restricted to the repair or replacement of a defective product during the valid RMA period.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly provided in this policy, i-View disclaims and denies all conditions, warranties, and representations, express or implied, including but not limited to commercial merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, information accuracy, satisfactory quality, non-interference, trade practice, or legal warranties.
If applicable laws restrict the application of disclaimers, any implied warranties that cannot be disclaimed will be limited in duration to the express warranty period. Since some jurisdictions’ laws restrict warranty periods or do not allow for certain disclaimers, the above limitations may not apply to all customers. Furthermore, i-View Technology provides no warranty and assumes no responsibility for Non-i-View products or their compatibility and interoperability with our products.
Limitation of Liability
Regardless of whether any legal remedies fail, i-View Technology and its suppliers are not liable for the following losses:
- Loss of revenue or profit
- Business interruption
- Data corruption or loss
- Any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages
- Employee or labor costs
Even if advised of the possibility of such damage, i-View Technology’s total liability for any losses arising from the use or inability to use this product shall not exceed US$200 or the actual purchase price of the product, whichever is lower. The above limitations constitute a fundamental condition of the contract with the customer and are the basis for i-View Technology’s pricing. This policy shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), excluding the application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If any part of this clause is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts shall remain in full effect.
