Effective from August 15, 2019

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of i-View (here-in-after as,” we, our, us”) website services, including our various websites, email notifications, applications, and our other covered services that link to these Terms, and any information, text, links, graphics, photos, audios, videos, or other materials or arrangements of materials downloaded on the website. By using these website services, you agree to be bound by these Terms as an agreement below.

Who may Use the Website Services

You may use these services only if you agree to form a binding agreement with i-View. If you are accepting these Terms and using the services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so and have the authority to bind such an entity to these Terms, in which case the words “you” and “your” as used in these Terms shall refer to such an entity.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle the information you provide to us when you use our website services. You understand that through your use of these services, you consent to the collection and use of this information by i-View.

Using the Services

The website services may change from time to time at our discretion. We may stop providing the services to you or to users generally. We also retain the right to create limits on use at our sole discretion at any time. We may also suspend or terminate user accounts, and reclaim usernames without liability to you.
You agree not to misuse our website services, for example, by interfering with them or accessing them using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide. We also reserve the right to access, read, preserve and disclose any information as we reasonably believe is necessary to
(1) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request,
(2) enforce the Terms, including investigation of potential violations hereof,
(3) detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues,
(4) respond to user support requests, or
(5) protect the rights, property or safety of i-View and our users.
i-View does not disclose personally-identifying information to third parties except in accordance with our Privacy Policy .

Your Account

You may need to create an account to use our services. You are responsible for safeguarding your account, so please use a strong password and limit its use to this account. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above.
We may need to provide you with certain communications, such as website service announcements, e-newsletters and administrative messages. These communications are considered part of the services for your account.

Your License to Use the Services

The services are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws of Taiwan and other countries. Nothing in the Terms gives you a right to use the i-View name or any of the i-View trademarks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features. All right, title and interest in and to the services are and will remain the exclusive property of i-View. Any feedback, comments or suggestions you may provide regarding i-View or the services are entirely voluntary and we will be free to use such feedback, comments or suggestions as we see fit and without any obligation to you. You hereby acknowledge and recognize that any and all patents, copyrights, know-how and other intellectual property rights used in these services are and shall remain the sole properties of i-View.

Ending these Terms

You may terminate your consent to i-View at any time by deactivating your account and discontinuing your use of the services. For more information about how to deactivate your account, please contact us at support@i-view.com.tw and refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on what happens to your personal information.
We may suspend or terminate your account or cease providing you with all or part of the services at any time for any or no reason, including, but not limited to, if we reasonably believe:
(i) you have violated these Terms,
(ii) you create risk or possible legal exposure against us, and
(iii) your account should be removed due to unlawful conduct. Once your account is suspended or terminated, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you the next time you attempt to access your account.

Limitations of Liability

By using these services, you agree that the liability of i-View and its related companies, as well as employees, is limited to the maximum extent permissible in your country of residence.

General

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version of the Terms, which will always be available at www.i-view.com.tw, will govern our relationship with you. By continuing to access or use the Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
