Governments worldwide are aiming to reduce carbon emissions and achieve early “Carbon Neutrality” in response to impending existential crises such as global warming, extreme climate events, and rising sea levels. It has led to a significant increase in the electric vehicle (EV) charging industry. However, the construction of charging infrastructure, particularly charging piles, must catch up with the growing number of electric vehicle sales. As a result, three critical management challenges have arisen in EV parking spaces.
Non-EV occupy
Non-charging vehicles occupy parking spaces, diminishing the income of parking lots and significantly impacting the capital investment recovery period.
EV parking without charging
Electric vehicle parking without charging wastes social resources and undermines the purpose of dedicated charging spots.
Brief Charging, Prolonged Parking
Electric vehicles remain parked even after reaching a full charge, reducing equipment utilization and diminishing investment efficiency. This practice hinders the effective use of charging infrastructure and contributes to low returns on investment.
Why Us?
To help parking lot operators

The operation process of EV parking space management
Efficient management of parking spaces for electric vehicles (EVs) is crucial for the benefit of EV drivers, parking lot owners, and the efficient use of social resources. I-View offers an intelligent EV parking space management solution to ensure a win-win situation for all parties involved.
Scenario #1: Parked EV charging normally
① As the vehicle approaches a designated charging parking space, the license plate camera initiates identification to verify whether it is an electric vehicle.
② Upon confirming the vehicle as an EV, the mini barrier gate automatically lowers to lock the car after 5 minutes of free parking time (defined by the user).
③ The car owner scans the QR Code to complete the charging payment with his mobile phone. After receiving the payment completion message, the parking management system turns on the mini barrier gate; simultaneously, it activates broadcast notifications and shows relevant messages on the LED display to remind the car owner to vacate the parking spot.
Scenario #2: Fully Charged, Delayed Departure
① As an EV approaches a designated charging parking space, our license plate camera initiates identification to verify whether it is an electric vehicle.
② Upon confirming the vehicle as an EV, the parking spot lock automatically rises after 5 minutes of free parking to lock the car.
③ Once the parking management system receives a charging completion message from the Energy Management System (EMS), it automatically lowers the parking space lock. Simultaneously, it activates broadcast notifications and displays relevant messages on the subtitle machine to remind the car owner to vacate the parking spot. If the car owner does not leave the parking space 10 minutes after charging is completed, the parking space lock will rise again to lock the vehicle, and the higher parking fee rate will be activated.
④ When the driver parks a car for longer than the allotted time, they must scan the QR code to visit the payment website and pay an additional parking fee. Once the payment is made, the Parking space lock will be lowered automatically. At the same time, the display will show messages and activate broadcasts to remind drivers to move their cars.
Scenario #3: Parking Without Charging
① As an EV approaches a designated charging parking space, our license plate camera initiates identification to verify whether it is an electric vehicle.
② Upon confirming the vehicle as an EV, the parking space lock automatically rises after 5 minutes of free parking to lock the car.
③ If the driver does not initiate charging after parking, a higher parking fee rate will be applied.
④ In case of non-charging, the driver must scan the QR code to visit the payment website and pay an additional parking fee. Once the payment is processed, the parking space lock will automatically lower. Simultaneously, the display will show messages and activate broadcasts to remind drivers to move their vehicles to free up the charging space for other users.
Scenario #4: Occupied by Non-EV
① As a vehicle approaches a designated charging parking space, our license plate camera initiates identification to verify whether it is an electric vehicle.
② If a non-electric vehicle is detected, a broadcast notification and flashing warning are activated. The LED display will show “Non-EV NO PARK HERE” to remind drivers that the space is reserved for electric vehicles.
③ If the car owner still insists on parking, the parking space lock automatically rises to lock the car after 5 minutes of free parking.
④ A higher parking fee rate is applied to non-electric vehicles parked in the charging space. The drivers must scan the QR code provided to visit the payment website and pay an additional parking fee. Once the payment is made, the parking space lock will automatically lower. Simultaneously, the display will show messages and activate broadcasts to remind drivers to move their vehicles.
Scenario #1: Active Charging
① The entrance gate barriers open after successfully recognizing the vehicle’s license plate.
② As the vehicle approaches the charging parking space, the camera identifies it and displays “Welcome to Charging” if it’s an electric vehicle.
③ The driver enters the license plate number into the auto-pay machine, displaying the charging fees on the monitor.
④ Upon completing the payment, the exit gate barrier opens after successfully recognizing the vehicle’s license plate, allowing the vehicle to leave the parking area.
Scenario #2: Fully Charged, Delayed Departure
① The entrance gate barriers open after successfully recognizing the vehicle’s license plate.
② As the vehicle approaches the charging parking space, the camera identifies it and displays “Welcome to Charging” if it’s an electric vehicle.
③ If a vehicle parked exceeds the maximum allowed time in a charging parking space, the LED will display “Overtime parking,” and the driver will be required to pay a higher parking rate.
④ The driver enters the license plate number into the auto-pay machine, displaying the parking fee (general rate + overtime parking rate) on the monitor.
⑤ After completing the payment, the exit gate barrier opens upon successfully recognizing the license plate, allowing the vehicle to leave the parking area.
Scenario #3: Non-EV Occupation
① The entrance gate barriers open after successfully recognizing the vehicle’s license plate.
② As the vehicle approaches the charging parking space, the camera identifies it and displays “Welcome to Charging” if it’s an electric vehicle.
③ A higher parking fee rate will be applied if the driver is not actively charging after parking.
④ The driver enters the license plate number into the auto-pay machine, and the system then displays the parking fee at the higher parking rate.
⑤ After completing the payment, the exit gate barrier opens upon successfully recognizing the license plate, allowing the vehicle to leave the parking area.
Scenario #4: Occupied by Non-EV
① The entrance gate barriers open after successfully recognizing the vehicle’s license plate.
② As the vehicle approaches the charging parking space, our license plate camera initiates identification to verify whether it is an electric vehicle. A broadcast notification and flashing warning are activated if a non-electric car is detected.
